Di Marzio: Como to bid €30M fixed plus €5M add-ons for Chelsea's Chalobah

Journalist Di Marzio posted on social media that Como is preparing to submit another offer for Chelsea center-back Trevoh Chalobah.

According to Sky Sports reporter Valentina Mariani, Como will offer Chelsea a fixed transfer fee of €30 million plus €5 million in add-ons between July 6th and 7th. The club, managed by Fabregas, had previously submitted an offer of €28 million plus €2 million in add-ons.

Chelsea rejected that bid and maintains their asking price of €35 million. Inter Milan remains in the picture for Chalobah's future, with the Nerazzurri evaluating whether to submit their own offer to Chelsea.

Regarding Chalobah's recent form, the English center-back has been a key player for Chelsea. He made 47 appearances and scored 3 goals across all competitions. His performances earned him a call-up to England's World Cup squad. Although he hasn't featured in the tournament yet, manager Tuchel values him highly as a defensively sound player who contributes in set-piece situations.

England aims to end their World Cup drought after losing consecutive European Championship finals to Italy in 2021 and Spain in 2024. The team progressed from their group with a 4-2 win over Croatia, a draw against Ghana, and a 2-0 victory over Panama. In the knockout stages, Kane's brace secured a comeback against Congo.
