Did Rudiger try and bite Pogba?

A relatively quiet first half between Germany and France ended with a bit of controversy as Antonio Rudiger appeared to attempt to bite Paul Pogba.

Without anything controversial having happened between the two until that point, the German got a little too close for Pogba's comfort, and looked to have a slight nibble on the Manchester United midfielder's back.

Pogba noticed that something had happened and tried to bring it to the referee's attention.

The officials didn't notice that anything had happened, though it was picked up by the television cameras. VAR did not intervene.
