Chelsea became the third English team in the Champions League last 16 ties to be beaten without scoring a single goal.
Twelve months ago people were talking about the domination of English football... all of a sudden it looks slightly different.
The Blues suffered a 3-0 defeat at home to Bayern Munich in the first leg of the last-16, a week after holders Liverpool lost 1-0 to Atletico Madrid while Red Bull Leipzig beat Tottenham by the same scoreline.
Manchester City have the chance to change that stat on Wednesday night when they take on Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.

Liverpool and Tottenham can bounce back but for Chelsea it will be the hardest of the three teams, Man City also has a tough tie against most successful UCL team Real Madrid but l hope some EPL teams will still make it

"twelve months ago people were talking about the domination of epl clubs" [Crylaugh] every body knows they were extremely lucky last season, and my prove is if you are that good you can't just come and win trophy once after a decade or more and made you believe they are dominant because of illiteracy of the highest level, take Italy (serie a) for example in the 90s and mid 20s, within that period they were dominant because they won half the ucl trophies those days, then spain took the mantle, btw 2005-2020 they won 8ucl, now just because an English won the ucl once they suddenly became dominant?![Crylaugh] I never heard any other league labelled like that including Spain, if it comes to other leagues they always single out a single club that won it, eg madrid have dominated Europe, barca have dominated Europe milan have dominated Europe etc these people are biased
