Borussia Dortmund's ambition to poach the best English youngsters could see them land Everton's attacking midfielder Anthony Gordon.
The England Under 18 international is regarded as one of the finest talent to have emerged from Everton's Academy since Ross Barkley and has already made a senior appearance, in a Europa League game with Apollon Limassol last December.
Gordon, who is not 18 until February, has made such progress that it has pricked the attention of Dortmund and Bayern Munich.
Arsenal have also shown an interest.
Dortmund moved just over a year ago to land Jadon Sancho from Manchester City.
The 18-year-old has since gone on to become one of the outstanding young talents in Europe with five goals in 19 appearances this season, and earned his first England cap just last month.
Everton's Ademola Lookman enjoyed a productive loan spell at Leipzig last season, and scored five times in just 11 games.

It seems as if in Europe Dortmund IA the best or one of the best clubs in bringing out potentials from young players. Because when u look at their squad the average age is from 18 - 28 and so doing they are very fast and they understand themselves very well. A good example is Jordan Sancho, who could ever taught that the 18yr old will be a world class player. He is fast and can take on defenders one by one or even with pace. Dortmund have a great recruiting board and they know how to sign youth talent and make the most good use of them

DM needs to stop the labels "THE NEXT" it's annoying as these are kids, not stars, let them find their own identities and grow.

Quite funny how Dortmund and other German clubs can exploit these gap and sell these kids back to premiership clubs for millions. Isn't it high time they play these boys themselves, keep them grounded and NOT pump them up with huge salaries.
