Borussia Dortmund have won the race to sign highly-rated RB Salzburg striker Erling Haaland, beating Manchester United to his signature.
Dortmund announced the signing of the prolific teenager on Sunday, with United pulling out of the move after refusing to meet some terms of the deal proposed by the player's agent.
United had identified Haaland as a transfer target, after his impressive form in the Champions League for Salzburg and his attractive €20m buy-out clause. However, it was Dortmund who won the race to sign him, beating off reported competition from Juventus as well.
Not content with just announcing the signing, Dortmund also took to Twitter to rub the noses of United and Juventus in their capture.
The Bundesliga side posted a video of themselves using the Twitter app, searching for the profile of Haaland.
Before finding the 19-year-old's account, however, the video 'accidentally' clicks on suggested searches including 'Haaland mufc' and 'Erling Haaland Juventus'.
Haaland had previously been photographed signing a current United home shirt, but also signed a number of other shirts at the same time.

Juventus will wait For four and a half year when Halaand's contract with BVB would be finished and will buy him on a Free Transfer... Think Like Juventus...

which race?????????? there was never any race from man United never really needed him. good player but he would tamper the likes of Mason Greenwood game time. so he was not really any player that the red devils hierarchy needed. good luck though haaland.

So what if they signed him?, its not like he is the next Messi or Cr7, the terms his agent weren't acceptable and will obviously be different to what he gave Dortmund. our Academy is producing great talents already, we don't need overrated flops like him

good player YES but the concern was we would have way too many young strikers, i DON'T real think we lack quality in those positions what we do lack is depth and experience i like Werner i know is still young but he has bag of exp at the top level, full German international, frighening pace (which fits ole system just fine), i would say ad, Werner, eriksen, emre can and Jadon sancho and we might challenge next season sancho i'll ad goal on the right side, something james is not known much for, werner to ad goals and competion for martial, can to bring about stability in that holding role and ad THAT area presence in corners and set pieces as he used to play as make shist centre half, eriksen to ad quality in that midfield, eriksen, pogba and either emre can, mctominay and Fred has the making of a proper title Winning midfield

I don’t like that Hasland agent . How come he control all the players in Europe. Dortmund thinks there the winners but they won’t have rights to sell the player and he cause problems when it to renew the contract so he can sell and make more money
