Pop sensation Dua Lipa was spotted at the Emirates revelling in Arsenal's 3-0 triumph over Real Madrid on Tuesday night — but her celebrations have raised eyebrows among confused football fans.
The Gunners took a huge step towards the Champions League semi-finals after claiming a three-goal advantage over the LaLiga giants ahead of next Wednesday's second leg in Madrid.
Declan Rice netted two outrageous free-kicks midway through the second half to stun Carlo Ancelotti's side, before Mikel Merino scored a third to cap off a stunning display from the north London hosts.
Dua Lipa soaked up atmosphere from the stands on a celebratory night at the Emirates, attending the Champions League showpiece with her actor fiance Callum Turner.
In footage captured by various networks including ESPN at full-time, the 29-year-old singer could be seen smiling in celebration of Arsenal's 3-0 victory.
It led to several football fans expressing confusion on social media after the game, as Dua Lipa has previously shown an affiliation to Liverpool.
After her hit song 'One Kiss' regularly a feature of Liverpool's home matches, regularly belted out by fans while played over the Anfield speakers before and after games, Dua Lipa was presented a personalised Reds jersey in 2022.
She smiled and posed with Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher and her father Dukagjin upon receiving the shirt, which had 'Lipa' and No 1 printed on the back.
A handful of confused fans took to social media to question her allegiance after the game.
'Wasn't Dua Lipa a Liverpool fan,' one supporter wrote with a pondering emoji.
A second posted: 'Dua Lipa is Liverpool, no?'
Another said: 'Wait a min, Dua Lipa is a Liverpool fan so why was she there at the Emirates last night??'
The London-born pop artist has previously spoken about her affiliation to both Premier League clubs.
In a video she filmed shortly after her performance at the 2018 Champions League final, which was won 3-1 by Real Madrid against Jurgen Klopp's Reds, Dua Lipa said: 'I'm an honorary Liverpool supporter.
'My dad and brother support Arsenal so I'd be getting in a lot of trouble if I said I just support Liverpool. But I love Liverpool - its always got a special place in my heart.'
Despite her comments about Liverpool, Dua Lipa uploaded a story on Instagram in 2023 that showed her wearing an Arsenal scarf in support of the Gunners.
Liverpool and Arsenal have gone head-to-head in a race for the Premier League title this season, with the Reds set to triumph after gaining an 11-point lead over the north London club with just seven games to go.
Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway and Kim Kardashian are among the high-profile names to have also shown their love of Arsenal on social media.
Hathaway posted a selfie to Instagram of her wearing a Gunners jersey earlier this month, welcoming Bukayo Saka back from his hamstring injury after the star's lengthy absence on the sidelines.
Her post was captioned, 'Welcome back #7', in reference to Saka.
Meanwhile, Kardashian posed with a personalised Arsenal jersey on social media after taking her son Saint to watch a match at the Emirates in March 2023.
