Dynamo Kiev manager Aleksandr Khatskevich admits his team need a miracle to overturn their Europa League deficit to Chelsea.
The Ukrainian club trail the last-16 tie 3-0 on aggregate following last week's first leg lat Stamford Bridge.
Dynamo would have been further behind had Maurizio Sarri's Blues not squandered a host of other chances.
Chelsea have never lost a game in this competition by more than two goals and Khatskevich accepts his side face an uphill task as the attempt to make history at Kiev's Olympic Stadium on Thursday.
'Of course, we do have a plan. Tomorrow, we will have to play in a more offensive way taking into account we lost the first game 0-3,' the Belarusian said at his pre-match press conference.
'We hope we'll try to score quickly, maybe.
'Miracles do occur in football and why not it occurs tomorrow?
'The score of the first game makes us go forward.'
Dynamo, who are confirmed as runners-up to rivals Shakhtar Donetsk in their domestic league for the third successive season, enjoyed a confidence-boosting 4-0 success over city rivals Arsenal Kiev on Sunday.
Chelsea, meanwhile, needed a last-gasp strike from Eden Hazard to salvage a 1-1 draw with Wolves in the Premier League on the same day.
'I watched the first half of that (Chelsea) game live while my squad was warming up for the game against Arsenal,' said Khatskevich.
'I think Wolverhampton showed a good defensive performance. However, they didn't manage to cross the middle of the field (in the first half).
'The second half I watched the day after and Chelsea dominated.'
Dynamo captain Serhiy Sydorchuk hopes the heavy first-leg loss can ease the burden on his team as there is little expectation of progression to the quarter-finals.
'Yes, I would like to believe so. We still do hope that the result of the first game is not going to put extra pressure on my team-mates,' said midfielder Sydorchuk.
However, he is keen to produce an improved performance to in order satisfy the home supporters.
'My team-mates and I would like to show a good game and we don't want to disappoint our fans,' he added.
Dynamo will be without suspended midfielder Vitaliy Buyalskyi after he collected his third yellow card of the tournament in London.
