Erik ten Hag dined out with his agent on Sunday just hours after Sir Jim Ratcliffe watched his first match at Old Trafford following his £1.3billion minority takeover of Manchester United.
The British billionaire sat in the stands alongside legendary ex-Red Devils manager Sir Alex Ferguson on Sunday afternoon to watch his new club hold Tottenham to a thrilling 2-2 draw.
The Red Devils twice took the lead through £72million summer signing Rasmus Hojlund and out-of-form forward Marcus Rashford, but Richarlison and Rodrigo Bentancur netted for the visitors to earn Ange Postecoglou's side a share of the spoils.
Ten Hag was seen having dinner with his agent and another friend in Hale Village, Chesire on Sunday just a few hours after the clash at Old Trafford. The trio stayed for approximately two hours at the Italian restaurant.
With Ratcliffe set to take control of football operations at Old Trafford, pressure has mounted on Ten Hag following his disappointing start to the season, with United seventh in the Premier League table and out of all domestic and European competitions excluding the FA Cup.
As revealed by Mail Sport last week, Ratcliffe and sporting director Sir Dave Brailsford issued a rallying cry to United's management and staff by urging them to work together to restore former glories.
Although Ten Hag has urged that he and Ratcliffe had 'positive' talks after his arrival, the Dutchman is effectively on trial at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils boss was seen exiting a black Audi as he arrived at La Famiglia at 9pm. Wearing his signature flat cap, Ten Hag then entered the restaurant to meet with his agent Kees Vos inside.
After just over two hours dining, the Dutch boss was pictured leaving with his two friends.
Despite holding off Tottenham for a well-earned point on Sunday, Ten Hag will be disappointed not to have won the game, with Scott McTominay squandering a glorious opportunity in the dying moments.
Ten Hag will now get Manchester United ready for an important FA Cup fourth round clash against Newport County or Eastleigh, with the competition their last chance of winning silverware this season.
The Red Devils then return to Premier League action against Wolves at Molineux, followed by a home match against West Ham and away clash at Champions League hopefuls Aston Villa.

Just one and a half seasons and some UTD fans are already done with the manager. (not including Ronaldo fans who were hurt by their idol's decision) Such impatience with a manager who in his first season has given a trophy and a cup final appearance to them after six years. If the club management takes such a imprudent decision and lets EtH go, my friends he will still be driving that black Audi but whoever the next manager will be, prepare yourself to scream at him from now. Because success is not coming overnight.
United is not ready to do that now. Monitoring the progress of the team now.

Thank you bro you said it all, if Rashford was in form like last season and Martinez, Shaw, and Casimero never had that injury I'm sure our season could’ve not been like this. Imagine Liverpool last season some impatient Liverpool fans are already calling him out look at them this season they are unstoppable.

ETH has invited his agent purposely to find him a new Club because the new owner of United told him to find a new Club when he met with him recently.
