Eagle-eyed fans spot Ben White performing his trademark tactic at corners

Arsenal supporters have hailed Ben White after he was seen performing his trademark tactic at corners during the Gunners' pre-season tour.

Like several other teams, Mikel Arteta's side are out in the US as they continue to step up their preparations ahead of the new campaign.

They took on Bournemouth in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, with the two teams playing out a 2-2 draw before the Gunners won 5-4 in a penalty shootout.

However, one moment in the game generated much attention on social media when the Gunners had a second half corner.

White is renowned for antics at corners where he attempts to put off the opposition goalkeeper by either blocking them or generally distracting them.

Despite Wednesday's game simply being a pre-season friendly, White showed no signs of letting up as he battled with Bournemouth keeper Neto and defender Milos Kerkez as Arsenal prepared to take a corner.

As the ball was being delivered, the 26-year-old could be seen jostling with Kerkez before running round and shoving Neto as he attempted to distract the Brazilian.

Neto then went to punch the ball clear and was clattered into by White, who was penalised by the referee.

However, despite nothing coming of the corner, Arsenal fans were loving the fact that White brought out his antics in a pre-season friendly.

One said: 'Things I love to see,' before another added: 'In a pre-season tour you know hahaha.'

A further amused supporter quipped: 'White is back to rattling goalkeepers lmao, Arsenal are fully back at their best.'

An extra fan said: 'Death, taxes & Ben White s***housery from corners,' as another chimed in: 'I can’t wait for Ben White to terrorize the whole league again. He’s my starting RB without a doubt. Calafiori vs Timber at LB is gonna be amazing.'

After their clash with Bournemouth, the Gunners take on Man United and Liverpool in further friendlies across the pond, before they face Bayer Leverkusen and Lyon at home.
