Eboué: Chelsea a title threat, Arsenal have a 75% chance to defend their title

Former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboué told LiveFootballTickets that Chelsea poses a threat to Arsenal's title hopes this season.

Eboué believes Chelsea's summer signings will put them in genuine contention for the title. The Blues spent £349 million in the summer transfer window, bringing in 11 new players, including Morgan Rogers, Danny Welbeck, and Emi Martínez.

Eboué said: "Chelsea are a team Arsenal needs to watch out for because they have many very good players. The Premier League will be very competitive, but I believe in what Arteta is doing and I believe in Arsenal."

Eboué still expects Arsenal to successfully defend their Premier League title and believes the team has a chance to win the Champions League for the first time this season. Arsenal lost to PSG in the Champions League in May this year, ultimately missing out on the trophy.

Eboué stated: "Arsenal is my team. This season will be very difficult because there are so many good teams and players. But if Arsenal continues to play the way they are, I believe they can win the league title. I would give them a 75% chance."

"Arsenal are getting closer and closer to their goal. If they keep getting closer every year, one day they will win the Champions League. I believe in this team and I believe in their style of play. In the past, people would say Arsenal played well but couldn't win. Now, other teams are afraid when they play against Arsenal."
