Eddie Howe is set to sign a sensational new deal with Bournemouth that will see him become one of the highest-paid homegrown managers in the Premier League.
Howe has been in charge at the Vitality Stadium for six years in his second spell at the club and eight years in total after leaving for Burnley from 2011 to 2012.
According to The Mirror, the 40-year-old is now poised to receive a bumper basic wage of £3million-a-year with bonuses added on top that would double his current annual salary.
That will see Howe sit alongside fellow British managers Roy Hodgson of Crystal Palace, Brighton's Chris Hughton and Sean Dyche at Burnley.
Howe's new deal will also contain a large compensation clause, should the highly-regarded coach leave the club for a new role.
His current deal was penned in 2015 following the club's promotion to the Premier League. It is believed that contract saw his £750,000-a-year salary drastically improved to reward Howe for promotion.
Bournemouth have impressed in the early stages of the new Premier League season, winning two of their opening four games.
The Cherries beat Cardiff and West Ham in their opening games before drawing with Everton and falling to defeat against Chelsea last time out.
