Manchester City keeper Ederson hopes to recreate his celebratory blue hairstyle in the Champions League final - at the wish of his eldest daughter Yasmin.

On the day City were crowned champions against Chelsea, the Brazilian had dyed his hair blue to celebrate his fifth Premier League title for the club.

The 29-year-old has now revealed that he will look to celebrate in the same manner should they win the Champions League for the first time in the club's history.

'My daughter asked me to dye my hair blue for that,' Ederson told Mail Sport.

'Of course, if we are champions again, I'll dye my hair blue again, but only with the kids' spray that comes out with water – nothing permanent!'

The City squad could create history by becoming the second club in English history to win the Treble if they beat Inter Milan in Istanbul.

Ederson though is doubtful whether his team mates would join him in dyeing their hair blue to celebrate.

When asked on the matter, Ederson said: 'I'm not sure, there are a lot of players who don't have hair!'

Yasmin, aged six, is the eldest of Ederson's three children with his wife Lais Moraes.

She was present as Man City celebrated their Premier League triumph following their 1-0 victory over Chelsea - along with her younger siblings Henrique and Laura.

Ederson meanwhile has insisted he will not change his flamboyant style in the Champions League final, despite the Treble resting on their clash with Inter Milan.
