SELFIE-hunting fans desperate for snaps with Mo Salah caused Egypt’s World Cup qualifier against Angola to be held up THREE times.

The Liverpool superstar was mobbed as the visiting Egypt battled back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Angola’s 11 November Stadium.

Police were called into action to remove the over-eager youngsters, all seeking photos with Africa’s most famous footballer.

Playing around the interruptions, Salah inspired his teammates to secure the point they needed to win Group F with a game to spare.

The draw also denied Gabon the chance of stealing the play-off place in a decisive final group game in Egypt next week.

Gabon surprised Libya 1-0 a few hours before the Angola-Egypt game kicked off thanks to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's penalty early in the second half.

It ended Libya's own hopes of making the play-offs and kept Gabon's faint chances alive.

Egypt went into the match knowing they needed just a draw and found themselves 2-0 down after 36 minutes.

But goals from Mohamed Elneny and Akram Tawfik both set up by skipper Salah clinched the draw.

Egypt joined Morocco, Senegal and Mali, who had already qualified for the 10-team play-offs in March.

Only the group winners progress to Africa's play-offs and the other six teams will be decided by Tuesday when the group stage ends.

The five winners of the two-leg play-offs will be Africa's representatives at the World Cup in Qatar.
