Unai Emery is hoping his personal touch will help Arsenal in their battle with Manchester United for Thomas Meunier.
The Gunners are hoping to steal a march on their Premier League rivals in the fight for Paris Saint-Germain full-back Meunier through Emery.
The Arsenal boss worked closely with Meunier during his time as PSG chief and has used his 'in' to try and persuade the Belgium international to move to the Emirates, according to Paris United.
Meunier is expected to leave the Parc des Princes this summer having played 31 times in all competitions last season.
The 27-year-old is said to be in advanced talks with the Gunners over a five-year contract, as the north London club attempt to bolster their back-line.
