Players fully behind Graham Potter

There have been questions in recent weeks over Graham Potter's future as Chelsea manager, with speculation suggesting the players had lost their faith in the head coach. However, Tuesday evening's huge victory against Borussia Dortmund proved the complete opposite.

Enzo Fernandez came out and spoke to the media after the game and called for Potter to be given everyone's full support. The Argentina international still trusts the head coach and spoke about how that is the general feeling.

"We're going to be staying on this path and we hope things carry on improving," Chelsea's record signing said. "It was a great plan from our coaches for the game."

These comments were almost echoed by Fernandez's teammate Kai Havertz, who also issued his full support for Potter. The German, who proved to be the match-winner on Tuesday night, took a dig at those who have been criticising the Blues boss.

Josko Gvardiol transfer breakthrough

According to the Daily Mail, the Reds are prioritising moves for Mason Mount, Matheus Nunes and Jude Bellingham instead this summer. It's said that Jurgen Klopp is eager to bolster his midfield options with James Milner, Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain beginning to look surplus to requirements.

If the report is to be believed and the Reds are looking to strengthen elsewhere before their backline, then the Blues can draw great confidence. Speaking to Calcio Mercato, intermediary Vincenzo Cavaliere named Gvardiol's price-tag and reassured Boehly that the defender will end up at Chelsea. He said: "In my opinion, yes [Gvardiol is worth €100million (£89million).

"A player’s valuation is directly proportional to how much a club is willing to pay for him, and with the prices at which certain players get away, I’d say yes. Gvardiol is 20 years old, he’s a regular in a big club like Leipzig and in the Croatian national team, third in the world. I think he eventually goes to Chelsea."

Stamford Bridge ticket price plea

The Chelsea Supporters Trust (CST) have asked Todd Boehly to reconsider an increase in season ticket prices at Stamford Bridge.

In the letter, their first reason for the re-think on ticket prices is the cost of living. The UK is currently enduring one of its most difficult periods in recent history and, according to the letter, the average wage has risen at a slower pace than prices.

The letter went on to call the possible price increase as 'unconscionable and in direct contradiction to CFC's efforts to strengthen community ties and strengthen supporter relations'. The CST have requested that further talks are held over the issue.
