ERIK TEN HAG reportedly expects to find out if he will be sacked by Manchester United in the next few days.
The Dutchman's future is up in the air with the United board said to be considering his future.
The club began their end of season review last week - after their FA Cup triumph over Manchester City at Wembley.
Ten Hag was heading for the sack if he lost that match, with fan support giving him a chance at staying in the role.
The United boss went on holiday after winning the FA Cup and is hoping to find out this week whether he or not he will be sacked, report Sky Sports.
The Red Devils have considered bringing in a new manager with former Barcelona boss Xavi the latest name to be linked.
Kieran McKenna, Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Tuchel, Gareth Southgate, Thomas Frank and Graham Potter all remain in the frame to take the reins at Old Trafford this summer.
Whoever gets to sit in the hot seat will have to agree to several rules which Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his close aides believe will take the club forward.
It includes any new boss coming into line with a style of play blueprint that will be enforced on all levels of the club — and set out by new technical director Jason Wilcox.
New co-owner Ratcliffe wants the new manager to agree to a recruitment model based on bringing in five new players under the age of 25 this summer to build a fitter, stronger and faster team.

To United bosses: Please don't sack Ten Hag. My family and I watch United from the USA and we think he is one of the best. He was set back by injuries to his main players so that United could not perform well in the league. Give him the chance and let him have fit players to know if he will fail. It will be a big mistake to let such a clever coach leave. All the other coaches out there, if they were that good and are winning trophies, why are they out of jobs? Ten Hag has already won two trophies in just two years. This is a sign that he will do more for United in the future. Coaching United is not an easy task let alone winning two trophies in England among top teams! Please don't be carried away by the media hypocrisies. Be pragmatic.

You see all these fans saying EtH should stay, they’re the ones crying when things go bad. One FA cup win and they then forgot how bad we’ve been this season, they’ve forgotten we have no tactics or identity as a team. We are no more threat to small teams. No one needs to hear my honesty, but I feel like, next season, we will be at the same position. I know you’ll say how many managers do we want to sack but this is 2024. No owners want to keep wasting money without results, even the fans can’t wait. My thought doesn’t matter I know, but EtH is not that man. If not for the FA, we’ve been shite all season. Forget about the injuries, but they’re just excuses.

remove manager give a trophy & add on manager without trophy like McKenna, pochetino, southgate, potter & zerbi.. that's a crazy decision.. he already prove their capabilities to win a trophy with only 2season..this season got around 60injury BUT HE STILL GIVE A UNITED MAJOR TROPHY.. Also he already give opportunity for young player like Mainoo, Kambwala, Dan Gore, Forson, Amass to train with first team & got minute & substitute in real game.. so what do BOD expect with so many key injured player?? give him a new contract until 5years & he will give more trophy to United.. believe it! arteta best season WITHOUT ANY TROPHY..
