Erik ten Hag has revealed he has met Sir Jim Ratcliffe ahead of the Brit's potential takeover of Manchester United.
The UK's richest man was pictured at Old Trafford after touching down in the City to discuss his potential takeover with club officials as he rivals a group of Qatari bidders - led by Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani - who gave their presentation on Thursday.
Ratcliffe - who owns Ligue 1 side Nice and heads up INEOS, a partner of the Mercedes F1 team - was photographed arriving at Old Trafford and being greeted by chief executive Richard Arnold.
The 70-year-old was later seen beaming outside United's famous ground after initial talks inside as he prepared to make his way to Carrington.
Ten Hag, speaking on Friday before United's FA Cup clash with Fulham, revealed that he met the billionaire during his visit to the club.
'I just met them and shook hands but I am focused on the game,' the Dutchman said. 'We play a big game on Sunday and all our focus is on that. Others in the club are dealing with potential investors.'
'My job is focus on the game so let's talk about the game Fulham, it is a big tie so let's get ready for that.'
United are still on the hunt for more silverware despite seemingly falling out of the Premier League title race, and could move one step closer to a domestic cup treble at the weekend.
They will however be without star midfielder Casemiro, who will begin a four-game domestic suspension following his second red card of the season last weekend.
While his absence will provide a challenge for United, ten Hag admitted his side are up for the fight.
'We had many more games without Casemiro,' he said of the Brazilian, who joined in the summer from Real Madrid. 'We did really well without Casemiro against Arsenal, Leeds and also at the start of the season, but I want to have Casemiro available.
'He has huge impact on our game. We also won many games without Casemiro so he is not available so we have to do with many players.'

Ten hag I know you need to focus on the game but please make this also a priority as the new potential owner will have a key role in your long term vision for this team.A new owner can either make or break you in the transfer market. We need funds available whenever you find a solid interest in any player.
