Christian Eriksen is being courted by Serie A holders Juventus, who are eyeing up the midfielder on a free transfer next summer.
Eriksen, who arrived at Tottenham from Ajax in 2013, was keen to leave the club in the summer, but a preferred move to Spain never materialised.
But despite scoring in the North London derby against Arsenal on September 1, the Dane is yet to hit top form this season as speculation continues to swirl on his future and Juventus are now interested, according to Italian outlet Tuttosport.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is thought to be dissatisfied with Eriksen's current situation, and unhappy that a player keen for a fresh challenge in the summer was not offloaded.
Eriksen came on as a substitute for the shock Carabao Cup defeat to Colchester last week, and missed a penalty in the shoot-out - he did however start Tottenham's 2-1 win against Southampton on Saturday.
Regardless, the 27-year-old's contract runs out at the end of the season and Juventus, who signed midfielder Aaron Ramsey from Tottenham's rivals Arsenal on a free transfer this year, are keeping an eye on Eriksen's situation in the knowledge he can sign a pre-contract agreement from January.
In addition, Juventus are also keeping tabs on Eriksen's team-mate Toby Alderweireld.
The Belgian is out of contract next summer, and the defender could be tempted by a move to Italy, after four years in England.
Chelsea forward Willian, who has found some form under new manager Frank Lampard, is another Premier League player Juventus could pursue on a free transfer next summer, should an extension not be agreed in the upcoming months.

They can definitely take Willian, he is the worst example possible to our younger wingers... when we talk experience, we need our young players to look up to players like Kante, Rudiger, Jorginho etc. who play for the team and not themselves...

The reason why Erickson is playing so badly is because Real Madrid turned him down. The reason Real Madrid turned him down is because he is too scruffy and ugly. Real only sign goodlookers who look good in a Madrid Jersey. This is fact. That's the only reason they sold Di Maria, not good-looking enough. Now juventus don't care about good-looking players. But Erickson is the scruffiest player I have ever seen. He could at least try and clean up his image. He looks dreadful. A few years ago he played like magic with a shot that was almost impossible to stop. He has lost all this now.i hope he gets it all back. Have a feckin’ shave man and do something with your hair. Anything.!!
