Essam El Hadary: The oldest player in history to play in World Cup

The most decorated African goalkeeper of all time, Essam El Hadary was a serial winner who won over 30 domestic titles and won AFCON four times, in which he was named the tournament's best goalkeeper on three occasions. In the 2018 World Cup, at the age of 45 years and 161 days, he became the oldest player in history to play in a World Cup match.
