Alfredo Morelos is being labelled the 'GOAT' by fans for celebrating his goal in Rangers' sensational 4-2 thumping of Borussia Dortmund by shouting into a TV camera.
Gers tore Dortmund apart on a stunning night in the Europa League, first taking the lead at Signal Iduna Park when James Tavernier converted from the penalty spot in the 38th minute.
Morelos then doubled their advantage three minutes later, before John Lundstram made it 3-0 four minutes into the second half.
And after Jude Bellingham pulled one back for the hosts, Dan-Axel Zagadou's own goal sealed a remarkable victory for Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men despite Raphael Guerreiro's late consolation.
It was Morelos who drew most praise online, nevertheless, with fans waxing lyrical about his celebration after netting Gers' second on the night.
The Colombia striker, renowned for being an eccentric, hot-headed character, turned the ball home and wheeled away before grabbing the nearest TV camera in sight.
He then looked down the lense and shouted an unrecognised Spanish phrase into the camera, leaving fans in stitches on social media.
One wrote: 'Bahahahaha Spanish speakers won’t translate at 0:15 but Alfredo Morelos is a goat'.
Another commented: 'I’ve got no idea what Morelos screamed into the camera but I completely agree with him'.
A third laughed: 'Someone must know what Morelos screamed into the camera'.
A fourth put: 'Death, taxes and Morelos at the back post'.
Another stated: 'Morelos is the all time goat'.
While one joked: '(Erling) Haaland has a Morelos poster on his bedroom wall'.
Morelos, who has spent the last four-and-a-half years at Ibrox after joining from HJK Helsinki in 2017, has now bagged 18 goals in 33 outings for Rangers this season.
He and his Gers team-mates will hope to maintain their aggregate lead in next week's second leg and progress to the last-16 stage of the Europa League.
