Leicester defender Jonny Evans believes team-mate Wesley Fofana is destined to become a world-class talent after impressing since his move to the Kingpower.
The Foxes signed the 19-year-old from Saint Etienne in a £36million deal and he has formed a strong partnership in a back-three alongside the experienced Evans and Christian Fuchs.
Since arriving in October, Fofana has started six of a possible seven league games and has five appearances in the Europa League.
Evans has been impressed at how quickly the youngster has adapted and insisted he has all the attributes to reach the very top.
'He can probably go on and become one of the best centre-backs in the world,' Evans told BBC Radio 5 Live.
'Sometimes you forget how young he is. He's got a real athleticism and maturity about him.'
In only his third game, Fofana was tasked with keeping Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang quiet at the Emirates but the Frenchman stepped up to the plate as Leicester came away with a 1-0 victory.
'He probably hadn't played in that formation and then he had to come up against one of the best strikers in the Premier League in Aubameyang,' Evans added.
'The way he dealt with him, he showed a real athleticism to be able to compete with a player of that calibre, he was so confident. I thought he was outstanding that night.'
The Foxes are looking to get back to winning ways when they travel to Sheffield United on Sunday after successive defeats by Liverpool and Fulham.
The Blades have scored the joint fewest goals in the Premier League so far with just four and sit bottom of the table.
