Everton snatched all three points away from Crystal Palace after Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun both came off the bench to score late on at Goodison Park.
The visitors were awarded their first penalty of the season after Seamus Coleman brought down Wilfired Zaha inside the area, only for Jordan Pickford to keep out Luka Milivojevic's spot kick with his leg to keep his side in the game with 30 minutes left.
However, it was Marco Silva's substitutes that made the difference as they scored within minutes of each other to win it for Everton.
Match report to follow.

Well I hope the manager reads this, I have never seen so many passes , passed to the opposing team in my life, it was as though palace thought they were playing in blue, and as for the penalty, everyone knows that goalies dive along the ground so if you are hitting the ball down the middle then it must be lifted at least a couple of feet and blasted, lastly and not least how many goals will they give away at the end of a match. There should ALWAYS be a sweeper when you are pressing forward, not leaving one on one like this, it is a give away goal and they have done this at least six times in less than a season. Am I the only person to see this, the manager can't.
Welcome back to management Sam Allardyce :D

One cannot 'win' a penalty. Please stop using this phrase, it smacks of cheating, a penalty is awarded for foul play by the opposition and for somebody to 'win' a penalty makes it sound like that was the deceitful aim of the attacker. The clue is in the name, it's a penalty to the defending team.
You sound a right barrel of laughs...

As an Everton man I think Crystal Palace were a bit unlucky to come away with nothing. Even so I was pleased with the result and the second goal from Tosun was outstanding.
Palace were tasty

You can see Silva has a plan & nearly has the players to succeed, another transfer window & EFC will become a real threat for top 6
He's giving Richarlson freedom to improve in the centre, to try and transform him into a striker. Not quite working out but it could be a stroke of genius if/when it does.

Everton need to be more clinical, but it was pleasing to see Lookman and DCL combine for a goal. Two talented young English players who could both be very good if properly nurtured. As for Pickford, yes he tries to do too much sometimes but his distribution is to die for and his shot stopping seems to get better by the game. The club got some stick for laying out 30 million for him but from where I¿m standing it looks like a great investment. Three wins on the bounce is fantastic, just hoping now they can make it four at old Trafford next week.
Pickford's distribution is the best I have seen of any goalkeeper anywhere in the world. It's not about doing things one-off and never so it again until 5 matches, it's something he does regularly. He did it twice against Spain. It's amazing.

I feel sorry for the Palace players trying to do the impossible without the full financial backing of the board and a Sports Director unfit for purpose. They do their best and lose in dying moments of games as they lack quality subs. The players know they are in for the seasonal routine relegation dog fight and it must be demoralising !

Wilfred Zaha, Townsend, etc. Could be really great ball players. If only, their mental agility was matched by their natural physical gifted talents.

Pickford turned the game for Everton and the two subs Lookman and Calvert-lewin. Two late goals, but a wins a win. Could of easily have been a draw or a Palace win, Everton nicked it in the end.

Great win Everton. Love how the Red Garbage come on here and insult us. Do they fear a change of scenery. Is it a new stadium or Usmanov coming to the blue side.

Wan-Bissaka is a defensive machine 1v1. Comes out on top 9/10 and he's not too bad attacking aswell. He'll be at a top team very very soon.

DCL could be a huge England star if he keeps improving, i don't think Everton need a centre forward now or if so it'd have to be someone outstanding

We are getting better each game and got a few wins on the bounce need to keep up the momentum now. Keane man of the match and the manager got his subs spot on. I haven't really watched much of palace this season but Wan Bissaka is class

How Tomkins got away with pushing Richarlison over early on beggars belief. But Andre Gomez looks like he's going to be a good addition to the squad and we still have Yarri Mina to come into defence as and when necessary. Everton are getting there slowly but steadily - you can't rush too many new players in at once.

Schlupp has one goal in 46 PL matches for Palace, Townsand has 5 in 80 PL games for Palace, on the bench Ayew has 10 goals in last 3 seasons. Puncheon didn't score for two seasons, Wickham was injured for two seasons. Benteke last years scored 3 goals and now is injured. Sorloth didn't score in PL, and his record outiside is avarage. Even Zaha never scored 10 or more goals in Prem. So from where Palace expec goals to come?
