Everton have sold Kieran Dowell to Norwich for an undisclosed fee as the club begin their summer clear-out ahead of next season.
The midfielder came through the Toffees' academy, joining the club at the age of seven, but made just five first-team appearances as he was sent out on several different loans moves.
Dowell has spent had three spells in the Championship with Nottingham Forest, Derby and Wigan.
He managed 10 goals and five assists during his time with Forest in the 2018-2019 campaign.
But he was unable to force his way into the Everton first team and spent the first half of the 2019-2020 campaign with Derby.
After struggling for game time with the Rams he joined fellow Championship side Wigan.
Dowell scored five goals and made three assists during his time at the DW Stadium but his season ended with relegation following the club's 12-point deduction after entering administration.
The 22-year-old joins the Canaries on a three-year deal following their relegation to the second tier and said he was delighted to join Daniel Farke's side.
He told canaries.co.uk: 'There was a bit of interest [from other clubs] towards the end of the season and when Norwich came up, with the history of the club and what they've got going on with the boss and the players they've got here, I think it was a really good fit for me.
'It’s a massive step in my career which is why I had to make sure it’s the right decision for me.'
The Championship season is set to restart on September 12.
