Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has been charged with misconduct for a breach of FA Rule E3 in relation to an incident at the end of their 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday.
Ancelotti was shown a red card by referee Chris Kavanagh when he approached the official at the final whistle, with Everton believing they had scored a late winner only for the goal to be disallowed by VAR.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin's deflected shot was ruled out after it was adjudged that Gylfi Sigurdsson, who lay near to David de Gea in an offside position, was interfering with play.
"It is alleged that the Everton FC manager's language and/or behaviour on the field of play at the end of the Premier League fixture against Manchester United FC on Sunday 1 March 2020 amounts to improper conduct," read an FA statement.
"He has until Thursday 5 March 2020 to provide a response."
Everton's next game is away to Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday - live on Sky Sports.

the man was offside when he moved his legs....he became active, if he did not move his legs the ball would have hit h and not go into the goal......simple really!

i hope so .. yeah definitely , lately they have become one of the tougher opponents and really enjoyed their football again . anyways , wish u could be the team that win the crucial points[Comeon]
Thank you. And yeah with regards to Everton, I think they will definitely rebuild with a manager like Ancelotti. He's getting a lot out of his players.

You might probably get your wish. Everton are one of those teams who have had the better of us in recent seasons. It's undoubtedly a tough game for us particularly with Ancelotti at the helm. And let's face it, Everton is playing good football these days. They have players like Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison who can hurt our defence so easily.

Re Everton player raised up his legs showing he's offside position. The ref call was categorical and coach was wrong to have confronted the ref in that manner. hence the red card was ok
Obstruction because his position obstructed the view of Degea on the ball, full stop

It is a question if he is interfering with play. He is in an offside position but the goal would still stand if he was not interfering with play.Var decision : he was! So stop arguing about whether he was offside or not.

so you are saying that the goal was offside goal,if ur answer is yes, you don't know anything about offside rules: deflated ball from opposite player to a player who is in an offside position is correctly a goal, and also a back pass from opposite player to a player who is at offside position is correctly considered a goal . These are the rules as applicable anywhere in the world, therefore, the Everton goal should have stood.Meanwhile,is not as if the refs and VAR officials didn't know, they absolutely know but decided not to award the 3points to Everton FC for their whatever selfish reasons
The goal was cancelled for offside , but for obstruction in line of vision

you don't know anything about offside rules, please,go and read more about it, when a ball is deflected off an opposing player to a player of another team who is said to be offside position and he scores a goal, the goals always stand

Italians speaks with passion and true to what he feel. Hand gesture is a must and its normal. I'm not Italian but I think they are very vocal and self expressive. To give a red after match end is so cruel

I know it's painful to take, mostly if the team is fighting for a place in Europe and it was a last minute goal so I feel their pain but it was the right decision and they have to let it go

why always Mike Dean incharge of our matches and he always keep on giving players unworthy yellow card even a simple foul you make yellow card i think this type of matches needs a very good referee who can control the game or the tempo but not for yellow card or Red cards referee i think the English FA should look at this issue will this kind of matches should be well control and coordinate very well because is very important game but not for yellow card or Red cards happy referee because Mike Dean will never fill happy in any of his games without yellow or red card.

Was the man wrong to react towards the absurdity that is VAR? .... honestly, some things just like being taken person for no reason whatsoever!
It's not about reaction.it's about the words he said to the raferee and the way he said it.Let's give the referee the benefit of the doubt.
