Everton fans surrounded Anthony Gordon's car, and stopped him leaving Goodison Park, before shouting and singing at him, following their loss to Southampton.
Things on the Blue side of Merseyside are not good at all right now, with the board of directors being told to stay away from their home game on Saturday afternoon.
That was due to a "real and credible threat to their safety and security," after ill feeling had turned to threats, due to the running of the club.
It didn't get any better for the Toffees either, as they lost 2-1 to bottom of the league Southampton, amidst protests inside the ground at the board.
Fans continued their protests after the match and Gordon was stopped from leaving the ground in his car, as they set up a barricade on the street.
In the video below, one fan chases the 21-year-old, calling him a 'd*ckhead' and a 'kn*bhead,' before shouting 'what the f**k lad' through the car window and then others start singing 'get out of our club' and 'you're not fit to wear the shirt.'
The forward is from Liverpool and joined the club at just 11-years-old, coming through all levels of the academy before making his senior team debut in December 2017, aged just 16.
It seems that if fans are going after him then they really must be bad, not that it needed this piece of evidence to prove that fact.
The forward could have easily left the club last summer, when big spending Chelsea seemed intent on bringing the forward to Stamford Bridge.
Reportedly the Blues went up to as much as £60 million in transfer fees for the youngster, but Everton didn't want to let him go.
He certainly wasn't the only player who was hit by the protests, with centre-back Yerry Mina also being confronted by a group outside of the ground.
The defender got out of his car, due to the fans and roadblocks in front of him, with some getting right in his face and shouting at him.
They questioned his, and other players' dedication to play for the club, which he continually tried to reassure them of.
Losing to Nathan Jones' side meant that Frank Lampard and his team are now level on points with the bottom of the table and have lost five of their last six league games.
They've also lost their previous four games at home, which is their worst run at Goodison Park since a period between April and September 1958.
Having only just avoided the drop in the last campaign, Lampard, who is under huge pressure now, will have to find a way to save them again.
The club did take points off Manchester City away from home recently but their form does nothing to reassure supporters they'll stay in the top tier.
Next up they face fellow strugglers West Ham, before a game against league leaders Arsenal and then the Merseyside derby with Liverpool.

Chelsea must be very stupid for offering 60m for such unknown player, that kid don't even know which leg he's using at the moment, how can you offer 60m for a player that doesn't know his left and right

The British do not have good coaches take it or leave it. They have the worse coaches in all of Europe despite claiming they have the best league in the world. The players at Everton are not the problem. It's the coach. Give that Everton team to a Spaniard or German or Italian and you'll see significant changes with the same crop of players. Lampard performed poorly at Chelsea and was sacked and now Everton are his next victims. Look at Graham Potter at Chelsea, another English man. Look at what he's turning Chelsea into with his naivety.
Look at the beautiful football Aston Villa are playing these days under the guidance of Unai Emery a Spaniard. Steven Gerrard couldn't do the job and was shown the exit door. English people are the worse coaches

They rejected £60M from Chelsea for an average player who's not even worth £20M
Again Chelsea is stupid enough to offer that high on potential. Let’s see their new signing performance
