Barcelona are planning to offer four players to Everton in a swap deal for Amadou Onana.
The La Liga champions are keen on Onana, 22, and ready to get creative to secure his signature. Onana, a strong and athletic midfielder, is wanted by many top clubs this summer. He might be up for grabs as Everton grapples with Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules.
Barcelona have their own money troubles, putting them at a disadvantage in the race for Onana. But they are ready to pull out all the stops to land the Belgium international. They're expected to offer Everton a choice of four players plus cash.
Spanish news outlet Sport claims that Ansu Fati, Clement Lenglet, Sergino Dest and Fermin Lopez could be part of the deal. Everton and Barcelona have a good history of doing business together, with the likes of Andre Gomes, Yerry Mina and Gerard Deulofeu arriving at Goodison Park from Spain in the past.
This could help Barcelona's chances of boosting their midfield. They already have young talents such as Gavi and Pedri, but adding a physical player like six-foot-five Onana could really help them shine. Onana, who has nine caps for his country, has netted three goals and provided one assist in 29 games this season. His impressive form has caught the attention of Manchester United and Arsenal, among other clubs.
Ansu Fati is currently on loan at Brighton. His career has been hampered by injuries over the last year and a half. Despite this, he's managed to score twice in 15 Premier League matches this season. He recently made a comeback from a calf injury.
Centre-back Lenglet is also on loan, playing for Aston Villa, who are hoping to qualify for the Champions League. After being an unused substitute for 13 straight games, he became a regular starter in December - making 12 consecutive Premier League starts.
American player Dest is another player out on loan. The right-back has played 33 games, scored two goals and assisted six times for Dutch team PSV Eindhoven. The 23-year-old is on course to win the Eredivisie title this season, with PSV 10 points clear at the top.
Unlike the other players Barcelona have loaned out, Fermin is part of Xavi's first-team squad. The 20-year-old has scored six goals in 32 games this term, including in recent wins against Napoli and Atletico Madrid in the Champions League and La Liga respectively.

Ask Barca to add two more players, Yamal and Araujo... and the deal is ON!
