Everton have signed former Huddersfield Town goalkeeper Jonas Lossl to act as No.2 to Jordan Pickford.

The Dane left the Terriers at the end of the season following their relegation to the Championship.

Lossl, 30, has now signed a three-year deal to stay in the Premier League at Goodison Park.

The former Mainz keeper made 31 appearances for Huddersfield in 2018-19.

Lossl’s arrival will see veteran Dutch stopper Maarten Stekelenburg allowed to leave Merseyside, if he elects to pursue first-team football elsewhere.
