Barcelona are set to come to blows with La Liga president Javier Tebas once again in the near future. The two sides have crossed multiple times this season, largely in regards to Barcelona’s finances.
They will do so again when Barca and La Liga go to court over Gavi’s registration. The Blaugrana won a court ruling which allowed the 18-year-old to be registered, but the league have now appealed that decision.
Former Barcelona vice-president Albert Perrin, who held the position during Joan Laporta’s first spell in the top job, has not held back when talking about Tebas, stating that the La Liga president has always disliked the Catalan club, as per Cadena SER.
“Barcelona, historically, has always had many enemies, from inside and outside. Don’t you remember the case of Lionel Messi? Tebas, when he had no office, did everything possible not to have him registered.
“Tebas is anti-Barcelona to the core. He is a historical enemy and now that has has power, he is much more of one.”
Perrin refers to when Tebas allegedly tried to stop Messi being registered as a first team player at Barcelona in 2004, back when he was legal adviser at Deportivo Alaves, and he even fought to have the Argentine’s license to play in La Liga annulled, according to BolaVIP.
Barcelona won that case with Messi 19 years ago, and they will hope to do the same with Gavi when they go to court with La Liga in the near future.

stfu, I remember those times well, and did suffer for years for it and we didnt spend as much as barca did in the last transfer window as much in all those years combined, first of all most of what we were indebt to and still till today is mostly national bank in contrast barca is indebt to forging investor, 2ed back on the days the rule to not spend as much as you can earn wasn't introduced ( didnt existe ) not till man city and psg were spending like crazy and that's why la liga is pushing hard against barca now, because despite a deficit last year they have spent over 200mils ( somehow a loophole that allowed that but now is closed ) 3rd barca is seeking a further 500mils from investors to revamp their stadium, and la liga doesn't like that as other club can't do that, and mostly because of the CVS deal that Barca and Raal and Billbao didnt agree on which may be canceled now and order to be paid back with interest. to close this, even Real and Perez had asked la liga to let barca get away with this turmoil, and the last point, la liga knows for certain if the debt will get higher only the super league will be able to save them as they will receive 1 billion cash straight up plus over 200mil each year.. so it more complicated that just real was indebt and had trouble with la liga, I hope you understand this
