While Frenkie de Jong is seemingly looking to leave Barcelona and sign for Manchester United, Bernardo Silva is one of the names tipped to replace the Dutchman at the Camp Nou. The Portuguese is one of Xavi Hernandez's most sought after players.
Luis Milla has been the one to most recently publically analyse this potential swap. Milla played for Barca in the 1984/85 and 1989/90 seasons, before transferring to eternal rivals Real Madrid. He made most of his career appearances for 'Los Blancos', notching a total of 217.
"I like the swap. The two can adapt to the Barca way, but one (Silva) is more of an attacking midfielder and can play between the lines. The other (De Jong) is more of a centremidfielder. If there's an economic need and it happens, I'd like the change", expressed Milla at the second edition of the Siux Legend Trophy.
Manchester United's last known offer for the Dutchman was 75 million. A figure close to Barca's asking price. With Silva's case, recent information suggests that his possible arrival is looking less likely.
