Rumours spreads on Friday that former Inter striker Adriano Leite Ribeiro, commonly known as Adriano, had been killed in the Morro de Alemao favela in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
However, the 38-year-old took to social media to publicly deny the false reports.
"I am alive and I am at home," Adriano wrote on Instagram to calm down his fans, who thanked him for his post.
Later, Adriano uploaded another picture of him resting on his bed.
