A professional lip-reader has revealed what Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola said to Dean Henderson in their confrontation after Crystal Palace won the FA Cup.
Palace won a major trophy for the first time in their history on Saturday, beating City - who will now go trophyless for the season - 1-0 courtesy of Eberechi Eze's strike.
But it wasn't just Eze they had to thank for the result. Their goalkeeper, Dean Henderson, put in a stunning performance as he pulled off a string of saves to keep City at bay and his clean sheet in tact.
Henderson saved Omar Marmoush's penalty in the first-half - after Erling Haaland had given his strike partner the ball - and pulled off another five saves in a memorable showing.
There was debate, though, whether he should have been on the pitch at all after a VAR check spared him a red card just before the penalty when he was seen to handball a ball into Haaland while outside the box.
At full-time, Guardiola confronted Henderson, leading to some fans theorising that the City boss was speaking about the potential red card incident. A lip-reader, though, has now revealed the truth about what was really said in the exchange.
Guardiola approached the England goalkeeper as he was celebrating and said: 'You didn't deserve that. Disgrace.'
Henderson replied: 'You still had your 10 minutes,' in reference to the 10 minutes of additional time at the end of the game.
Henderson said '10 minutes' three times, while Guardiola also said: 'It's not fair play. You should not - it's not fair.'
The Spaniard was eventually pulled away from Henderson by Crystal Palace reserve goalkeeper Matt Turner.
Guardiola looked at Henderson and wagged his finger, while Henderson smiled and put his hands up, seemingly to gesture the number 10.
Palace boss Oliver Glasner had also hugged his goalkeeper before the remonstrations from Guardiola began.
After the game, Henderson said he told Guardiola: 'You got your 10 minutes like you wanted.' Guardiola, meanwhile insisted he said 'nothing'.
Henderson also told ITV Sport: 'I just went to shake his hand but obviously I think he was disappointed with the time wasting. I said, "You got the 10 minutes that you wanted". No hard feelings.'
Guardiola would later add: 'He defended his position, we defend our position. It's English football. Everyone can do whatever they want.
'We have to score goals. We didn't lose because Henderson did that. They gave nine or 10 minutes extra time but it's a question of rhythm.
'All the fans are there to let 22 players play. When Barcelona play, they attack and the other team attacks and it's beautiful. But it's a question of the referee. We don't have the rhythm.
'I understand when it's 87 minutes, 96, but I don't feel it. My teams never try because I try to play the game that the people deserve to watch.
'Saying that, congratulations to Henderson and Palace because they defended really well and we were not able to score a goal.'

Pep crying about fair play while being investigated for 1967 breaches is wild. Typical modern day narcissist.

If they wanted City to win the goalkeeper would have been sent off giving city the numerical advantage. Stop the foolishness!
