Virgil van Dijk, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the three finalists for FIFA The Best Men's Player award.
Van Dijk led Liverpool to win the Champions League last season and won the UEFA Player of the Year award.
Messi led Barcelona to win the La Liga title while he scooped the European Golden Shoe award.
Ronaldo won the Serie A and Italian Super Cup with Juventus in his first season in Italy, as well as won the UEFA Nations League with Portugal.
The final winner will be announced during The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony on Monday 23 September.

both van dijk and messi did very well for their respective positions with their team. messi performed very well as expected from him. he scored improtant goals and lead the team and teams attack like he did for his team for the last decade winning 5 balondors. vand dijk on the other hand is a growing talent under klopp's well managed and united team. van dijk was sensational last season and won it all. The only difference is messi was saving unorganized barca and van dijk was decorating a progressing liverpool. messi has an advantage of being forward but both their contributions were equally important.
