Ex-Liverpool star Fabinho was presented with a Rolex following his impressive debut for Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Ittihad on Monday night.
The 29-year-old completed a £40million move from the Reds last month and made a fast start to life in the Gulf State by helping his side cruise to a 3-0 victory.
His commanding display was so noteworthy that he was stopped by one fan when leaving the stadium and gifted a Rolex, which he was happy to accept.
Unfortunately for the Brazilian international the expensive timepiece had not been securely fastened around his wrist, resulting in the watch immediately dropping to the ground.
A few seconds of worry followed before the midfielder appeared to indicate that no serious damage had been done.
Following months of disruptive transfer dealings, the Saudi Pro League resumed this weekend replete with the spoils of their summer plunder.
Fabinho joined an Al-Ittihad roster who had recruited the current Ballon d'Or holder Karim Benzema as well as former Chelsea star N'Golo Kante.
The league is set to land its latest and arguably second biggest prize with the imminent arrival of PSG forward Neymar.
The 31-year-old is close to completing a £78m transfer that'll land him an eye-watering £130m-per-year salary, and bonuses tied to social media promotion of Saudi Arabia.
