Kylian Mbappe has now gone four games without scoring for Real Madrid after drawing a blank in Saturday's 4-0 win over Osasuna.
The former Paris Saint-Germain captain only managed to record one shot on target despite playing the full 90 minutes at the Bernabeu.
But Jude Bellingham scored his first goal of the season before Vinicius Jr stole the show with a hat-trick.
Vinicius has now scored 12 goals in 17 games for Madrid this term, while Mbappe has eight in 16.
The Brazilian completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute on Saturday when he collected a pass from Brahim Diaz before smashing a shot past keeper Sergio Herrera.
Mbappe was stood just eight yards to the left of Vinicius when the ball hit the net and some eagle-eyed fans thought the Frenchman's reaction was interesting.
As Vinicius sprinted to his right to celebrate with Diaz, Mbappe appeared less than excited. Mbappe did not run after Vinicius to congratulate him.
However, Mbappe was later seen exchanging high-fives with his team-mates.
Nevertheless, one Madrid supporter shared a six-second clip of Vinicius scoring his hat-trick goal via X (formerly Twitter) and accompanied it with the caption: 'Look closely at Mbappe'.
Another fan replied: 'Bro ain't happy anymore'. The original poster responded: 'Bro might cause issues honestly'.
A third fan later added: 'Vini ain’t giving him the chance to be the star'.
Saturday's game saw Madrid bounce back after consecutive home losses to Barcelona and AC Milan.
However, it was not all good news for Carlo Ancelotti's side as three players had to be substituted off with injury issues in the first half.
Star centre-back Eder Militao tore his anterior cruciate ligament, before Rodrygo and Lucas Vazquez also failed to complete the first 45 minutes.
Both Militao and Rodrygo were pictured in tears after leaving the field.
Madrid's dominant win took them to within six points of La Liga leaders Barcelona after 12 rounds of fixtures.
The reigning champions now have 15 days without a game as top-level club football pauses for an international break.
Their next match is away at Leganes on November 24, three days before they visit Liverpool in the Champions League.

...if Mbappe wasn't happy, it's because of his own performance, which is a good thing. Has nothing to do with Vini. These guys hang out with Cama n Rodrygo. I hope he continues to work hard to get to Vinicius level. He needs to continue working on himself, n he will get better. It can be the call-up issue. Maybe it's getting to him. I won't be happy if I wasn't called up too. Especially as the captain and someone who wants to be like Ronaldo. These players are human, too.

He's in Vini's shadow now. Let him work harder. Real Madrid is not Psg.
