Paul Ince has named a combined XI of Manchester City and Chelsea players ahead of the meeting between the two and it has led to reaction aplenty.
The former Manchester United and Liverpool star was tasked by Sky Sports with the arduous challenge of combining the two teams and some surprising results have come to the fore.
Ince decided to name six City players in comparison to five Chelsea stars, with Ederson, Kyle Walker, Benjamin Mendy, Kevin de Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling getting the nod for the Blues.
The Chelsea quintet includes Kurt Zouma, Fikayo Tomori, N'Golo Kante, Mason Mount and William.
The majority of those five players have played a key role in helping Chelsea sit third in the Premier League and one point ahead of City prior to the clash at the Etihad Stadium tomorrow.
Meanwhile, City have shown flashes of brilliance thanks to the likes of De Bruyne, Aguero and Sterling but they have suffered shocking defeats to Norwich City and Wolves, while Pep Guardiola 's men lost to Liverpool last time out also.
Ahead of the start of the season it would have seemed fanciful for only six City players to be included in a combined XI with Chelsea, and even now football fans are still up in arms due to a couple of key omissions.
Those snubs include David Silva and Bernando Silva. Here is some of the best, and above board, reaction below around the combined XI which had Ince trending this afternoon.

This would be my combined 11. I've decided to pick players based on form, fitness and availability. I've definitely gone controversial by picking Abraham over Agüero and this is simply because he's more clinical compared to Agüero this season and he has been scoring his goals from open play.

To be fair, none of the left backs in either side have been playing regularly. Even Emerson has been missing lots of games. Also, I want to have almost similar representation between Chelsea and City players. Mendy will give decent competition to Emerson. I certainly don't want to include Alonso because he's actually not good as left back. On the right back, I went with Reece because he's actually really good although I know how good our captain has been in recent games. Walker or Cancelo are certainly not in competition for this position at the moment. I had to choose between Reece and Azpilicueta so I went with the guy with more talent. Maybe it's unfair, I would reconsider and pick Azpilicueta coz he's so creative. Perhaps I ought to change that and pick Azpilicueta instead.

The midfield is a dilemma no doubt but In a fully fit side Debruyn Kante and B Silva are the best attack Aguero Sterling and Abraham then maybe Rudiger Leporte Walker and Mendy then Ederson ...soo bad to leave Sane Joghino Kovacic D.Silva Maharez and Kepa too
