Lucas Moura has been mocked on social media after celebrating winning the pre-season Audi Cup.
He wrote: 'Very happy to get my first trophy with this amazing club. The best way to start the season! We will work hard to keep building this winning mentality.'
Tottenham, who booked their place in Wednesday's final about they beat Real Madrid 1-0, routinely get criticised for their failure to win trophies and Moura's tweet only set fans up to rub salt in the wounds.
Arsenal fans in particular were quick to taunt Moura for suggesting winning a pre-season tournament carries any significance.
One fan wrote: 'This is actually embarrassing,' while another jokingly said: 'Congrats mate, when's the parade?'
Even a Spurs supporter admitted: 'Lucas, I love you man, but I don't think this quite counts.'
