In the match against Atlético Madrid, Yoro received a straight red card for bringing down Lookman, who was through on goal. It was the first red card of his career.
Former Manchester United defender Ferdinand expressed his disagreement on social media, stating it was "definitely not a red card" and praising Yoro's performance.
Ferdinand wrote: "Yoro should be proud of his performance tonight. He formed a strong partnership with Lisandro Martínez."
