Fiorentina are keen on a deal for Spurs winger Bryan Gil late in the window - with the Spaniard struggling to nail down a place under Ange Postecoglou.
Gil arrived in north London in a £21million deal - plus Erik Lamela - from Sevilla in 2021 but has found it difficult to assure himself of game time under a succession of managers - and has been sent out on loan twice.
He was sent to Valencia in 2022 before returning to Sevilla on loan last year, before returning to the Spurs squad looking for a fresh slate under Postecoglou.
But despite Tottenham being hit with an injury crisis this season, Gil has still been unable to force his way into the first team and has been forced to accept just two Premier League starts this season - with another seven coming off the bench - playing for a total of 187 minutes.
Now Fiorentina are one of the clubs ready to offer him an escape route as they look for reinforcements in their bid to finish in the top four.
La Viola are having a solid season in Serie A and are fourth in the table currently - though there is just three points between themselves and Napoli in eighth, so manager Vincenzo Italiano will know he needs more depth to ensure they keep on track this season.
Gil would add to their list of wingers including Riccardo Sottil, Nicolas Gonzalez, Jonathan Ikone and Josip Brekalo.
The 22-year-old has not been able to get ahead in the pecking order over Dejan Kulusevski, Brennan Johnson and Son Heung-min - and with the arrival of Timo Werner and Manor Solomon returning from injury, game time will be even harder to come by.
Gil has made a total of 39 appearances for Tottenham across the last three seasons and has failed to score - registering just one assist last season.
Meanwhile, Japhet Tanganga is returning to Tottenham, having not played for Augsburg since joining on loan in September.
Luton have previously shown interest in the Spurs academy graduate, who started just twice for the club last season.
