Fiorentina reportedly insist on bringing Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira back to Serie A.
The former Sampdoria player moved to London in July 2018 for €28.7m and has played 89 times for the Gunner since.
The Uruguay international has been linked with a return to Italy and Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims the Viola are pushing to get the go ahead from Arsenal to negotiate with the player.
The report claims Fiorentina are only waiting for a positive reply from the Premier League side before they can close a deal with the defensive midfielder.
The 24-year-old played 74 games at Sampdoria, having arrived from Pescara in July 2015.
