The Real Madrid president berated the squad for their attitude; Ramos replied blaming Pérez for the disastrous season.
Real Madrid's elimination from the Champions League provoked a furious row in the dressing room at the Bernabéu between club president Florentino Pérez and captain Sergio Ramos, who had missed the game after being suspended for forcing a yellow card.
Pérez angry with Real Madrid players
Florentino was waiting for the players after the match and berated them for their attitude during the game. The president continued for several minutes, attacking the players for their lack of dedication and excessive time off, going as far as to use the term "disgraceful".
At that point Ramos responded, accusing Pérez and his board of poor planning and blaming them for the disastrous season. "Pay me up and I'll go" the captain ended up saying in the heat of the debate. The entire squad witnessed the row.
Real Madrid board met to discuss next steps
Afterwards, the president met with his board in the Bernabéu until two in the morning, discussing the various options available, including directly sacking Santiago Solari and bringing in Mourinho, who it's well known has a terrible relationship with Ramos. The president and the board had serious divisions of opinion on the next steps to take, meaning no decision was taken at the time, although one could be coming in the next few hours.

Ramos might have been booked deliberately, but it's ultimately perez's fault. He let ronaldo go and did not sign any adequate replacement for him.

For the first time I'm supporting Ramos Someone needs to stand up to Perez he's to blame for all the chaos in the club and yet he dares push the blame towards the players

This is one of the many reasons I just can't hate this Fantastic Captain Ramos in their last few games Real Madrid has been playing well and creating chances but the problem is the goals aren't coming and I think you already know why Ramos, Varane, Carvajhal, Reguillon are defenders their primary jobs isn't to score Modric, Kroos, Casemiro are midfileders whose primary jobs aren't to score but guess who they have at the front whose jobs are to score goals, yeah you guessed right, it's injury prone Bale( one week in, five weeks out), The sometimes goalshy Benzema and of course the very very young and talented bit inexperienced Vinicius and then the coach is Solari all these aren't the teams fault because they are not the ones buying and selling player but it's Perez that does that How can you sell a player that gives 50+ goals every season and no even bother to get a reliable replacement ?? bottom line is It was Perez's fault what is happening to the team but Perez is looking for a scape goat and tries to blame it on the players but as usual Ramos stepped up and defended his teammates and himself despite knowing fully well that it might cost him his job I know some of you may not like him or his ways but just know this whatever Ramos has done on the pitch or sometimes off it is always for the better of the team and his teammates I don't think we will see another captain as dedicated and selfless as Ramos in ages to come Hala Madrid
