'Flying' Ter Stegen saves Barcelona for the zillionth time

Marc-Andre Ter Stegen played a key role in Barcelona's semi-final first leg victory over Liverpool at the Camp Nou.

The German goalkeeper showed off his reflexes, agility and decision making - yet again.

Jurgen Klopp's side went in search of a goal during the first half, but they through everything forward in the second period to try and beat Ter Stegen.

Barcelona's No.1 stretched to save from James Milner and got down quickly to deny Mohamed Salah's effort from distance. He received an ovation from the Camp Nou crowd as he, almost single-handedly, earned the team a clean sheet.

With away goals such a decisive factor in the Champions League, he proved himself in this competition once again.

That's three successive clean sheets for Ter Stegen in Europe following the two he kept against Manchester United in the quarter-finals.

Overall this season, the German has played 48 matches and let in just 39 goals, forcing a more-than-capable Jasper Cillessen to watch from the bench.

The Dutchman will get his chance in goal for the Catalan club this weekend, but he probably won't get many more with Ter Stegen around.
