After Manchester City booked their place in the Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday night, Phil Foden took to social message to send a message to Kylian Mbappe ahead of the Sky Blues' tie with Paris Saint-Germain.
Pep Guardiola's side beat Borussia Dortmund 4-2 on aggregate and progressed to the next round of the competition thanks to a 2-1 victory in Germany.
"Are you ready?" Foden asked in a tweet, in which he tagged Mbappe.
Despite the post having been quickly removed, it went viral on social media, with reports in England stressing that the post was uploaded by a social media company who manage Foden's account.
For the time being, Mbappe has not responded to Foden's challenge, with the Manchester City midfielder reportedly being frustrated by the whole incident.
