These are the most valuable players, as in players who will bring the most to your club for the longest time. Mbappe is totally deserving of top spot given his form this season and the fact that he's only 20. 10 years before he's thirty, probably at least 13 of football at the highest level. That Messi and Ronaldo are so high despite their age is a testiment to their ability as the best footballers in the world.

None of these so called players are above Messi. They are more concerned with age and how much time each have before expiry. That is the only consideration. Hope this goes hand in hand with earnings.
