Nicolas Pepe should be taken out of the firing line for Arsenal despite his recent form, according to Charlie Nicholas.
The Ivorian international has actually hit a bit of form, scoring and assisting two goals against Newcastle, before setting up another in his side's 3-2 win over Everton on Sunday.
However, despite his contributions in recent matches, former Arsenal striker Nicholas believes that Gabriel Martinelli should be given a shot when they take on Olympiacos in the second-leg of their Europa League round of 32 tie.
'I do not think this is a certain win [for Arsenal],' Nicholas told Sky Sports on the Gunners' upcoming clash.
'Mikel Arteta will sit and read into the fact that they let in two against Everton. Bernd Leno gets Arsenal out of a lot of holes but he did slip up for the second goal.
'Joe Willock and Alexandre Lacazette will come in I think. You have to keep Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in for his goals.
'Will Nicolas Pepe get another run? Probably. Does he deserve it? Probably not. I would probably look at Gabriel Martinelli.'

You're right man, but this guy got the football language on his gean, all he needs is experience words of wisdom that can lead him to his best, and he need to adapt to the word of wisdom.

In order to kick start a player like how Arteta persisted with Laca and Eddie until they scored, he wants to do the same with Pepe, Pepe will come good.
