Kilmarnock have wielded the axe on manager Angelo Alessio fewer than six months on from his appointment at the Scottish Premiership club.
Alessio, who was formerly assistant boss at Chelsea under Antonio Conte, replaced Steve Clarke in the summer but has won just eight of his 22 games in charge.
His sacking comes with the side languishing in fifth in the table, with one win in eight and none in their last four matches.
Defeat at Ross County on Saturday was the straw that broke the camel's back, and he has been replaced by Alex Dyer on an interim basis.
A statement from the club read: 'The Kilmarnock Football Club Limited can today announce that Angelo Alessio has been relieved of his position as manager.
'Everyone at the club would like to thank Angelo for his efforts during his time with Kilmarnock and we wish him every success for the future.
'Alex Dyer will take charge of first-team duties on an interim basis. We will provide a further update for supporters in due course.'
Alessio even won the Ladbrokes Premiership Manager of the Month award in November, but just a few weeks later has been relieved of his duties.

lampard is very hopeless, he is now saying Keppa should be replaced yet its his bad tactics. instead of letting Kante sit in number six to shield our defence. Annoyed Chelsea fan in Kampala(Ronald Bogezi)
