A former Chelsea star is set to sign as the new head coach of UAE Pro League team Al Ain.
The Argentinian striker has scored more than 300 goals in a career spanning 19 years.
He played for clubs such as Lazio and Inter Milan and at international level is the fourth highest goal scorer ever for his country.
After being signed by Jose Mourinho at Chelsea in 2005 as competition for Didier Drogba, he also won the Premier League.
Now, Hernan Crespo is set to become the new coach of Al Ain taking over from former Ajax manager Alfred Schreuder.
Crespo was Al Duhail manager before they replaced him with former PSG coach Christophe Galtier.
However, now he is reportedly on the verge of joining Al Ain, as César Luis Merlo suggests.
Al Ain are based in Abu Dhabi and currently sit third in the UAE Pro League.
