Former Leeds & Liverpool defender Matteo given all clear after brain tumour

Dominic Matteo has revealed he has been given the all clear after being diagnosed with a brain tumour sixth months ago.

The former Scotland international was taken seriously ill in November and underwent surgery.

And having been given the good news he shared the news on Twitter with his followers.

'Yesterday I got THE phone call, the one I’ve been praying for... my brain scan is clear,' he tweeted.

'After 6 months of fear pain rehab surgery and treatment. I’m healthy! It feels unreal!

'The LGI &St James hospital saved my life. They were simply incredible. Thankyou will never be enough!'
