Vincenzo Montella has reportedly turned down an offer worth €1.3m per season to lead the Iran national team.
The former Milan and Sevilla boss is currently out of work, having been fired by two different clubs in a single campaign.
It was suggested over the last few days that Montella was asked to take over the Iran squad.
Now Tuttomercatoweb claim the Italian tactician has rejected the proposal of a three-year contract worth €1.3m net per season.
He is seemingly not convinced that he wants to take on this particular role.
