New footage has emerged which shows the moment Chelsea boss Frank Lampard lost his cool and exploded into a heated, foul-mouthed rant towards Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool bench.
Lampard was feeling the pressure with his side trailing at Anfield following Naby Keita's opener and saw the red mist descend when a soft foul was given on the edge of the Chelsea area.
The Blues boss immediately began to boil over at the referee's decision, and responded immediately after hearing murmurings from the Liverpool section of the dug-out.
*Warning - explicit language in video below*
'How is that a foul? There's no foul there,' Lampard appeared to shout, taking steps towards Liverpool boss Klopp before the fourth official intervenes.
'Sit down then,' Lampard could be heard barking at the German, before getting more irate as Klopp gestured a calm down motion with his outstretched arms.
Lampard then turned his attention to Liverpool's No.2 Pep Lijnders, as Klopp could be heard slowly repeating: 'calm down, calm down.'
'If he's going off at me I'll f****** say something,' Lampard appeared to reply sharply to Klopp, while pointing an outstretched arm towards the seated Lijnders.
The Chelsea manager could then be seen pacing away in the opposite direction, before turning on his heels and once more getting embroiled in confrontation.
Pointing at his own substitute's bench and then back towards the Liverpool dug-out, Lampard looked to be addressing Klopp's assistant Lijnders directly.
'It's not a f****** foul, I'm not asking you!' barked Lampard, before Klopp could finally be seen to lose his own temper and scream a high-pitched 'hey' back at the Chelsea man.
'You can f*** off and all,' Lampard appeared to say, with the adrenaline pumping. 'You think you can give it the big one, f*** off.'
The officials quickly intervened between the two managers to take Lampard away from the situation, before he offered his final words to Klopp regarding the Liverpool bench: 'Tell them to have respect, sit down,' he added.
Many of the words could be picked up with crisp, echoing quality given the absence of supporters inside the stadium due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Liverpool substitutes, dispersed throughout the bottom of the main stand so as to observe social distance, shook their heads in apparent confusion.
Klopp remained standing in his technical area, looking back across at the furious Lampard as the drama finally subsided.
To make things worse for Chelsea, Liverpool then went on to score directly from the free-kick which had caused all the commotion.
Trent Alexander-Arnold placed down the ball, before expertly whipping it over the wall and past stunned goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Lampard's night soon went from bad to worse, as Liverpool made it three courtesy of Gini Wijnaldum.
Though Chelsea managed to give themselves a glimmer of hope in the second period courtesy of the electric introduction of youngster Christian Pulisic, a goal-laden second 45 saw Klopp's team tie up the game as 5-3 victors.
Lampard told Sky Sports after the game: 'I've got no problem with Jurgen Klopp, he has managed this team and it is fantastic.
'Some of the bench, it is a fine line between when you are winning and they have won the league, fair play to Liverpool Football Club but also don't get too arrogant with it.
'In matchplay you get emotional and that is it.'
Much was riding on the match for Chelsea, who are still yet to confirm Champions League qualification for next season.
A point at Anfield would have been enough to book a place in the competition for the Blues, who must now make sure they get a result against Nuno Espirito Santo's Wolves on the final day of the season to avoid late heartache.
Liverpool went on to finally lift the Premier League trophy, ending its 30-year absence from Merseyside, in a specially erected grandstand on the famous Kop.

It was the end result we were interested in. The same Lampard play on this same pitch when Steven Gerrard slip and Demba Ba score the winning goal that night. This was a grudge match. Let Chelsea now be thinking about winning their last game with Wolves in order to qualify for the UCL next season.

And this is what you love to see. This is pure evidence Frank is a Chelsea manager and a Chelsea fan through and through. I was scared he will be 1 of those conservative types that are glued to their chair. Glad he has the passion in him. Also let's not take things out of context he reacted Mane clearly diving and the Liverpool bench having a hissy fit as if that was fair play. Liverpool and United own VAR the evidence is crystal clear...

Also it's funny how Sky Sports left Mane dive out of their highlights. Sums up the English FA, their favourites are Liverpool, United and Spurs you'll hardly ever hear a word against these teams or decisions against them....

He still green with management and can't manage his temper and emotion. Should be more focus with his team than others team. Good luck Chelsea

I saw the replays and it was a clear foul by Kovacic but I feel Lampard was angry because of the way Mane exaggerated, but other than that it was a foul
