From Spanish prime minister to top players: Stars were out for the UCL final

Spanish prime minister Pedro Sanchez and Manuela Carmena, mayor of Madrid, watched on at the Wanda Metropolitano as Liverpool won their sixth European Cup on Saturday evening in a box that was full of big names.

Luis Rubiales was sat between UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin and FIFA's Gianni Infantino.

Xabi Alonso, whose son wore a Liverpool shirt, Pepe Reina and Fernando Morientes were also in attendance although Rafael Benitez, despite being present on the morning of the game, opted to watch elsewhere.

The list didn't stop there though, even as far as Spanish stars were concerned. Raul Gonzalez attended, as did Michel Salgado, Deco, Ian Rush, Davor Suker, Roberto Carlos, Cafu, Steve McManaman, Jose Mourinho and Christian Karembeu.

Super-agent Jorge Mendes showed his face as well, with Enrique Cerezo, Miguel Angel Gil Marin, Adriano Galliani, Ramon Calderon and Umberto Gandini not far away.

Conor McGregor was there too, while Luka Doncic was reluctantly there but no doubt wishing he was playing in the NBA Finals.
